I Write Because...
I write because I have things to say. My commentary on current events, business, sports, etc. may not be interesting to anyone but me, but...
You should read it because, once in a while, I might even say something useful.
The Osthoff Resort
A beautiful property on a perfect lake. Race fans, families and groups of all kinds call us "their place on the lake".

Life and Wipeout
Here are three lessons about life we can learn from Wipeout:
1: You never know whats around the next corner, so be ready for anything. Seriously, it could be anything.
2: Whatever it is, it will be fantastic. Even a spectacular wipeout is fantastic in its own way. You may not get past it, but the smack, the fall and the splash will be great. Try to love every moment for what it is--spectacular.
3: Nobody gets through anything on the first try. But if you get back up and run headlong into the spinning bumpers, you'll get through it eventually. Get out of the foamy water, climb the ladder and run at it again. You'll get smarter and better each time.
Let me know which of the top ten is your favorite. I love the lady who turned a sure fall into a flip in mid-air. That's taking lemons and making lemonade for you!
Thanks and don't fear the wipeout!
